USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Cut open the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the installation nozzle to direct the flow of the adhesive. Cut the nozzle so that the hole is sufficient for application of the necessary amount of adhesive. Place the cartridge with the nozzle into the gun and pump the adhesive mass into the nozzle by repeatedly pressing the gun trigger. If you are dealing with a clean installation joint, apply painter’s tape before putting the element in place. Remove the tape before the adhesive dries completely.
SpeedFix Universal 907 adhesive can be used as a contact adhesive or a single-side wet adhesive.

Single-side wet bonding
Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded and immediately press the surfaces together firmly to achieve the best result. In case of heavier materials supporting is needed.

Contact bonding

Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded, press the surfaces together firmly and then immediately separate them. Keep the surfaces separated for 3-5 minutes and then press them together again to complete the bonding process. The surfaces must be pressed together firmly and supported to ensure maximum contact.

They should remain mechanically supported for at least 24 hours, but the recommended duration is until the adhesive becomes completely dry. Avoid any thermal, mechanical or chemical impact before the adhesive cures completely.

TIPS

• Application temperature range: from -10 °C to +40 °C.
• Surfaces must be free from dust, loose particles and oil.
• Sufficient ventilation must be provided in the course of curing.

LIMITATIONS

• The adhesive connects parts rigidly and therefore it is unsuitable for moving joints.
• Not suited for use on surfaces that are in constant contact with water.
• Curing may take longer if both adhesive-covered surfaces are non-porous.
• Not compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene and expanded polystyrene.
• In case of unknown materials, it is recommended to test adhesion prior to application.
