USAGE INSTRUCTION

Cut off the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the application nozzle for directing the sealant.

Cut the nozzle so that the opening is sufficient for application of the necessary amount of sealant.

Place the cartridge together with the nozzle in the’s gun and fill the application nozzle with sealant by pressing the gun’s trigger.

Apply to the joint by pressing the gun’s trigger repeatedly and evenly and by dragging the nozzle steadily across the joint.

After application, smooth the sealant with a rubber smoothing tool. Remove excess material.

TIPS

• Surfaces must be clean, free from contaminants such as polish, dust, grease and old sealant, as well as ideally dry.
• Surfaces can be damp but not wet, and it should not be raining during the application.
• Painted surfaces must be fully cured and sound. Suitable to seal many construction materials, but a preliminary test is recommended between the surfaces to be sealed.
• After the surface has been prepared, apply with a caulking gun, and remove any uncured product by using white spirit.
• Cured sealant must be scraped clean.

LIMITATIONS

• Do not use as a glazing sealant, on bitumen surfaces or on building materials which might bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents (e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, chloroprene, EPDM or flexible PVC).
• Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or PTFE (Teflon®). Due to the wide variety of possible substrates, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
