USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

For sealing door and window joints
To avoid mastic splashes on the frame, protect window and door frames with masking tape. Do not cover the edge of the window frame or doorjamb with the tape, so mastic can form an entirely air and water vapour-tight connection covering the whole joint. Use a brush and apply mastic in an even layer on the surface of the foam filling the joint. Do not dilute.
It is recommended to cover the surfaces in multiple layers and in different directions. Depending on the porosity of the substrate, the next layer can be applied in approx. 1 hour. A colour change indicates drying.

Sealing various penetrations.
For sealing penetrations and turn-ups, a sealing cuff or reinforcement fabric must be used. Use a brush to apply mastic on the surface, install a turn-up or a reinforcement fabric on fresh mastic and cover its upper side also with mastic.
It is recommended to cover the surfaces with two or more layers, depending on the substrate. Depending on the porosity of the substrate, the next layer can be applied in approx. 1 hour. A colour change indicates drying.

TIPS

• The air temperature, substrate temperature and mastic temperature when used should be between +10 °С and +25 °С and maximum relative humidity 80%.
• Substrates must be free of grease, oil, dust, and loose particles.
• Before using, mix carefully.
• As the mastic does not form an independent, strong and wear-resistant surface cover, the surface must be covered with a finishing material. During curing, make sure no dirt falls on the material’s surface and that the surface of the joint is not under mechanical stress.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation in all use locations.

LIMITATIONS

• Do not use for sealing aquariums and underwater joints.
• Do not use as adhesive during façade works.
• Silicone cannot be painted.
