USAGE INSTRUCTION

Remove dirt, grease and dust from the surface of the bathtub. Roughen the surface of the bathtub with the coarse sandpaper included in the set. It is recommended to cover the tap, drain and edges of the bathtub with masking tape. If there is no enamel in some areas of the bathtub, even the surface with epoxy filler, for instance Penosil Premium FastFix Epoxy. If needed, sand filled areas so that the entire surface of the bathtub is even.

PRIMING Mix the primer and the primer activator thoroughly. When applying, pour some primer on the bottom of the bathtub in such a way there is no need for a special tray. It is best done with a foam roller or a high-quality brush. Painting the bathtub may be started 12 to 24 hours after priming.

PAINTING Before applying the enamel coating, perform the intermediate sanding of the surface of the primer and clean dust from the primed surface of the bathtub. Mix the paint and the paint activator thoroughly. For painting use a foam roller or a high-quality brush. The most convenient work method is to pour paint in portions on the bottom of the bathtub.

The bathtub will be ready for use in 7 days (drying temperature above +20 °C, air humidity up to 80%). Using the bathtub sooner may cause a permanent change in the enamel coating. Before the first use, clean the bathtub surface with soap and water.

TIPS

• Do not start painting before the surface is clean and dry.
• Application temperature between +10 °С and +30 °С.
• Drying temperature not less than +20 °С, air humidity <80%.
• Working time after mixing the paint with an activator is approx. 1 hour.
• Suitable tools are a foam paint roller or a high-quality brush.
• The basic colour shade is white. For tinting add water-soluble tinting paste to the primer as well as to the paint.
• The painting process consists of 2 stages.
• The bathtub is ready to be used 7 days after painting.

LIMITATIONS

• Not suitable for sheet metal or plastic bathtubs.
• The use of paints containing highly active colorants (hair and yarn dyes, bath foams and balls, etc.) can cause a permanent change in the enamel coating of the epoxy-coated bathtub.
