USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

310 ml plastic cartridge:

Cut off the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the application nozzle for directing the sealant. Cut the nozzle so that the opening is sufficient for application of the necessary amount of sealant. Place the cartridge together with the nozzle in the gun and fill the application nozzle with silicone by pressing the gun’s trigger. Apply the sealant to the joint by pressing the gun’s trigger repeatedly and evenly and by dragging the nozzle steadily across the joint. After application, smooth the sealant with a rubber smoothing tool. Remove excess material.

600 ml foil package:

Open the gun’s dispenser nozzle, place the package in the gun and open its dispenser side end by removing the bracket. Place the dispenser nozzle on the open end and screw on the cap. Apply the sealant to the joint by pressing the gun’s trigger repeatedly and evenly and by dragging the nozzle steadily across the joint. After application, smooth the surface of the silicone with a rubber smoothing tool and remove any excess sealant.

TIPS

• The surfaces to be bonded must be dry and free of grease, oil, dust and loose particles.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation in all jointed locations. During curing, make sure no dirt falls on the material’s surface and that the surface of the joint is not under mechanical stress.
• Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
• Due to the abundance of materials, we recommend testing the suitability and adhesion of the product before use. If necessary, use a primer to improve adhesion.
• Application temperature range: from +5°C to +40°C.
• Sealant temperature during application must be between +20°C and +25°C.
• Non-porous surfaces must be cleaned with solvent and a clean, lint-free cotton cloth.
• Remove solvent residue with a dry, clean cloth before it evaporates.

LIMITATIONS

• Not suitable for surfaces containing bitumen or on construction materials that may emit oils, plasticisers or solvents (e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, chloroprene, EPDM rubber, etc.)
• Not recommended for natural stone, e.g. marble and granite.
• Do not use for filling joints in aquariums and other underwater structures.
• Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®) or Plexiglas (PMMA).
