USAGE INSTRUCTION

Open the application nozzle of the gun, insert the package in the gun and open on the applicator side by removing the fastening clamp.

Place the applicator nozzle on the opened end and screw on the cap.

It is recommended to apply a thin layer of PU-primer on porous surfaces in order to improve their adherence.

After the primer has dried, lay a joint cord not adhering to PU-sealant on the bottom of the joint. Apply sealant in the joint by repeatedly and evenly pressing the gun’s trigger and smoothly dragging the nozzle along the joint. Wider joints should be covered in three application sessions, by covering the two side parts and thereafter the bottom of the joint. Press the sealant thoroughly against the edges and the joint bottom, until no air bubbles emerge anymore.

After application, smooth the surface with a rubber silicone scraper and remove excess material.

TIPS

• The surfaces must be free from fat, oil, dust and loose particles.
• The surface to be covered must be dry.
• Ensure adequate ventilation in all joint locations. During the curing process, make sure that no impurities can settle on the surface and that the joint surface is not affected by mechanical load.
• Do not use at temperatures below +5°C. Usage temperature between +5°C and +35 °C.
• Prior to using the sealant, let the concrete surfaces dry for at least 4 weeks.
• Make an adhesion test of silicone-coated surfaces in order to verify the chemical and adhesion compatibility of materials, also check the colour.
• The size of the joint should be selected in accordance with the moving of the joint.
• The width of the joint should be 6 to 40 mm. At a width of 10 mm, the depth of the joint should equal the width of the joint. Should the joint be wider than 10 mm, the depth of the joint should be a half of the width if the joint.

LIMITATIONS

• Only completely cured sealant may be painted with an adhering dispersion paint (acryl, vinyl).
• A paint test should be made before.
• Movement of the joint may cause cracking in the painted surface.
• Outdoor use in areas where the temperature in winter does not fall below -20°C.
