USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Use mason’s grout to lay and level the first line of blocks.

Hold the can in upright position and screw it onto the gun, holding the handle of the gun with one hand and screwing the can with the other. While screwing it is necessary to ensure that no one is in front on the gun. Do not screw the the can onto the gun with the valve facing downwards and do not screw the gun onto the can. After attaching the gun, shake the can intensely at least 20 times and turn it into the working position so that the bottom is facing upwards. Apply some stone glue to the blocks as uniform stripes. The quantity of glue will depend on the block type.

A pre-moistened surface guarantees a better result. At air temperatures below +5 °C it is recommended to moisten the connecting surfaces or treat them with PENOSIL Premium Foam Activator. The adhesive foam output can be adjusted by gun trigger.

In cold conditions it is necessary to warm up the can in a warm room or warm water before beginning work. The temperature of the water should not exceed 30°C.

PENOSIL Premium StoneFix 827 creates a thin adhesive layer when exiting the foam gun. As soon as the adhesive has diffused, the stone surfaces can be joined together. The adhesive must be applied to both the vertical and horizontal sides of the block.

TIPS

• Air temperature during application between -5 °C and +35 °C.
  Best results at +20 °C.
• Can temperature during application between +5 °C and +25 °C.
  Best results at +20 °C.
• The surfaces to be joined must be free of dust, loose particles and oil.
• Due to the difference in materials and the different possibilities of use, it is recommended to carry out tests to determine the suitability of the product in the specific location of use or consult the seller of the adhesive.

LIMITATIONS

• Foam adhesive does not stick to Teflon, polyethylene or silicone surfaces.
• The cured foam adhesive is sensitive to UV and sunlight and needs to be coated with a suitable opaque material.
